Ipriflavone can be found in food but in trace amount. Ipriflavone is a soy derived isoflavone, it is found in foods but in trace amount. Isoflavone is generally without side effect and has shown no toxicity.
Research shown that it maintain bone density, prevent osteoporosis, slows down the action of bone softening and bone eroding and stimulate osteoblast to build more bone.
It is suggested to take 200-600 mg daily.
Ipriflavone should not be used together with estrogen, theophy line, tolbutamide, dilantin (phenytoin), coumadin (warfarin).
Those who have kidney disease should consult with their pharmacist before using Ipriflavone.
